Make sure the whole lawn is receiving water. Edges and corners of the grass can be vulnerable to drying out and is often missed by most sprinklers. These parts can and will dry out faster than the center of the new lawn. Sections of the lawn that are located near or against buildings will dry out quicker and will require more water as well.
